These 8-light cottage-pane double doors, often referred to as French doors, are designed to open up your home and create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living spaces. The classic cottage-pane glass design allows maximum natural light, while the solid bottom panels provide added privacy, strength, and durability.
Crafted from premium Meranti hardwood, these doors are manufactured with 140mm engineered hardwood stiles, a 210mm bottom kick plate, and 32mm solid raised-and-fielded panels, ensuring long-lasting performance and stability—ideal for the South African climate.
These doors are supplied without glass, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred glazing option (clear, frosted, or safety glass). Glazing beads are included for easy installation once the glass is fitted.
A T-bar (meeting stile) is included in the price, ensuring proper alignment, strength, and a secure seal when the doors are closed.
Suitable for interior and covered exterior use only. When installed outdoors, these doors must be placed in a protected area with adequate overhead cover to shield them from direct sun and rain.

Should my doors be treated?
Yes, most doors are untreated unless specified.
It is recommended that doors should be treated before installation, with a penetrating wood oil, thereafter treat regularly.

Can my door be exposed to sun and rain?
We recommend that only vertical slatted doors be used as fully exposed doors, and that all other doors have some overhead cover.
What other products will I need to install my door?
You will need a frame, handle, locks and hinges to complete installation.
If you do not already have these items consider adding a frame.
When can I expect my online order to be delivered?
Depending on the area and product that you order, most of our items take 3-5 working days for delivery. Any stock issues will be immediately communicated to you.
